I have been illustrating for a number of years for magazines like Family Circle, The Bulletin, TIME, Inside Sport and Money. And I have written and produced advertising concepts for everyone from the local plumber to Coca-Cola. I love to hoard bits and pieces of ephemera and have been known to pick up old bits of lino for a scan. My technique is to use an unusual mix of textures, collage and hand-painted images and throw them all into the blender. However, the most essential ingredient is a good idea.
